Amid increasing competition, changes in logistics, and growing demand for local products, the exhibition is becoming an important platform for finding new markets, partnerships, and technological solutions.

This year, 61 companies from 14 countries will participate in the exhibition, including Austria, Belarus, Vietnam, Germany, Georgia, Kazakhstan, China, Malaysia, the UAE, Poland, Russia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine. Participants include manufacturers of food and beverages, suppliers of ingredients, packaging solutions, equipment, and technologies for the food industry. Among the new exhibitors are companies from Austria, Germany, the UAE, Malaysia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Belarus, and other countries, confirming the strong interest of international businesses in the Kazakh market and its potential as a regional hub for the food industry.

The exhibition will cover the entire food production cycle — from raw materials and processing to packaging and finished products. The venue will feature meat and dairy products, fish and seafood, grocery products, snacks, beverages, coffee, ingredients, and specialized solutions for food production facilities. Special attention will be given to the technological segment, including processing equipment, compressor systems, packaging, engineering solutions, and industrial sanitation.

For many years, InterFood Astana has maintained its status as an effective B2B platform uniting market participants from Kazakhstan and Central Asia. For businesses, the exhibition provides an opportunity not only to showcase products, but also to hold negotiations with distributors, retail chains, processors, and industry associations. According to the organizers, the industry today especially needs practical solutions related to securing the raw material base, modernizing production facilities, and developing export directions.

One of the key events of the exhibition will be the two-day MEAT&DAIRY INDUSTRY FORUM dedicated to the industrialization of Kazakhstan’s meat and dairy sectors. Within the framework of the forum, experts, business representatives, and government officials will discuss investments, development of the raw material base, modernization of enterprises, product quality issues, and export prospects.

On May 13, the business programme will focus on the meat industry. Participants will discuss market development strategies, processing capacity utilization, logistics, and export market requirements. Special emphasis will also be placed on practical cases of cooperation between farmers, processors, and retailers.

On May 14, the focus will shift to the dairy industry. Discussions will center on raw milk quality, the development of dairy farms, technological modernization of enterprises, as well as increasing the competitiveness of Kazakh products in domestic and international markets.

The exhibition is officially supported by the Akimat of the city of Astana and the DAMU Fund.

The event is organized by the Kazakh exhibition company Iteca in partnership with the international partner ICA Events Group.
