KIHE 2026, PHARMATECH KAZAKHSTAN 2026 AND VISIONCARE 2026: A UNIFIED SPACE FOR INNOVATION, TECHNOLOGY AND PROFESSIONAL DIALOGUE

FROM MAY 20 TO 22, 2026, THE LARGEST INDUSTRY EVENTS OF CENTRAL ASIA IN THE FIELDS OF MEDICINE, PHARMACEUTICALS AND OPHTHALMOLOGY WILL TAKE PLACE IN ALMATY AT THE ATAKENT IEC VENUE — THE 31ST KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL HEALTHCARE EXHIBITION KIHE 2026, THE 3RD KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION “EQUIPMENT, RAW MATERIALS AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY” PHARMATECH KAZAKHSTAN 2026, AND THE 1ST KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION “OPTICS – OPTOMETRY – OPHTHALMOLOGY” VISIONCARE 2026.

For the first time, three specialized exhibition platforms will be united within a single business and exhibition space, creating a large-scale professional platform for exchanging experience, presenting innovative solutions and strengthening international cooperation in the healthcare sector.

More than 400 companies from 24 countries worldwide will participate as exhibitors in 2026, including Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Egypt, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Latvia, the UAE, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, the USA, Turkmenistan, Türkiye, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, France, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and South Korea. National groups will be represented by companies from Belarus, Germany, China, Russia, Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic. In addition, collective stands of the Autonomous non-profit organization “Russian Export Center”, the “Made in Yamal” project of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the Autonomous non-profit organization “Moscow Export Center”, as well as companies from the Ryazan and Kaluga regions will participate in the exhibition. Among the participants are 110 companies from Kazakhstan and 287 international companies presenting modern medical technologies, pharmaceutical equipment, laboratory solutions, optical products, consumables and digital services for the healthcare system.

Special attention within the exhibitions will be given to the extensive business program covering key areas of industry development. On the first day, May 20, Pharma Dialogue: Kazakhstan 2026 will take place, where industry experts will discuss key trends in the development of the country’s pharmaceutical market. The program includes the plenary session “Pharmaceutical Market 2026: System Resilience, Localisation and Regulatory Models”, the strategic session “Kazakhstan’s Pharmaceutical Market 2026: VAT, Investment, Exports and Industrial Infrastructure” and the strategic session “Digital Pharma 2026: Governance, Transparency and Medicines Supply”.

On the same day, Rehab Kazakhstan 2026 dedicated to rehabilitation and restorative medicine issues will also take place. The event will feature the plenary session “Rehabilitation as a New Vector for the Development of Kazakhstan’s Healthcare System”, the panel discussion “Modern Methods of Comprehensive Rehabilitation in Line with the ICF Principles: From Exercises to Practical Approaches”, as well as the case session “Equipment and Technologies in Rehabilitation: Clinical Effectiveness and New Treatment Methods”. In addition, specialized seminars by ALGIMED, Gemokor, BAUPHARM, EndoEcoMed, Yuwell, CITY PHARM, LABTECHNOLOGY, WELLGO Logistics Kazakhstan, LEORA, Endo Star and Elektrontest companies will be held.

On May 21, the II Forum of Healthcare Managers of Kazakhstan will be held within the exhibition framework, bringing together representatives of government authorities, medical organizations, business and the expert community. The central event of the forum will be the strategic plenary session “Healthcare System 2026: State Strategy and the Role of Managers”. The program also includes the panel discussion “Women in Healthcare: Leadership, Resilience and the Future of the Healthcare System”, the case session “AI and Data in Healthcare Management: From the Hospital as a Data Factory to Digital Solutions” and the discussion session “Caution: Medical Marketing! Ethics, Boundaries and the Patient Journey”. Parallel seminars by LABTECHNOLOGY, WELLGO Logistics Kazakhstan, LEORA and ENDO STAR will also take place. The first day’s program will also feature the signing ceremony of a strategic partnership agreement between Mediker and International SOS.

A separate area of the business program will focus on the development of the optical industry within the VisionCare 2026 platform. Participants will be able to take part in the plenary session “Kazakhstan's Optical Market 2026: Policy, Economy, Clinical Practice, and New Technologies”, as well as attend the Actual Optic seminar “27 Years at the Top: How to Create a Niche with No Competitors”. The business program will conclude on May 22 with the specialized session “Intensive Care and Anesthesiology: Current Challenges and Innovative Technologies”, organized by the Kazakh Society of Anesthesiologists and Intensivists. The discussion will present modern approaches to intensive care, new technological solutions and international experience in anesthesiology and resuscitation. A seminar by Elektrontest company will also take place in parallel.

Another important innovation of 2026 will be the Job Fair for students of medical educational institutions, organized jointly with the Association of Clinics of Almaty, Kazakhstan’s Medical University “KSPH” and the Academy of Knowledge and Skills 4Study.kz.

The platform will create additional opportunities for interaction between future specialists, employers and the professional community. Participants include: Zhambyl Regional Multidisciplinary Center of Oncology and Surgery of the Healthcare Department of the Akimat of Zhambyl Region, State Communal Enterprise under the right of economic management "Regional Mental Health Center", Management of health care of akimat of the Kostanay region, National Scientific Center for the Development of Social Protection under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and 20 medical organizations from Almaty Region.

The holding of KIHE 2026, PharmaTECH Kazakhstan 2026 and VisionCare 2026 will become an important event for the medical and pharmaceutical community of the region, bringing together manufacturers, distributors, representatives of government structures, the scientific community and practicing specialists on one professional platform to discuss current challenges, demonstrate innovations and develop international cooperation.
