VISIONCARE 2026: INDUSTRY EXPERTS TO DISCUSS THE DEVELOPMENT OF OPTICS, OPHTHALMOLOGY AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES
FROM MAY 20 TO 22, 2026, THE 1ST KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION “OPTICS, OPTOMETRY, OPHTHALMOLOGY” - VISIONCARE 2026 WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE ATAKENT EXHIBITION CENTER IN ALMATY, BRINGING TOGETHER REPRESENTATIVES OF THE OPTICAL INDUSTRY, OPHTHALMOLOGY, OPTOMETRY AND MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY MANUFACTURERS.

The exhibition will feature companies from Belarus, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Russia and Türkiye, highlighting the international status of the platform and the growing interest of the professional community in the development of the vision care market and optical solutions in Central Asia. The exhibition will showcase modern technologies, equipment, lenses, diagnostic solutions and innovative developments for clinics, optical salons and industry professionals.
Special attention within VisionCare 2026 will be given to the business program, which will become a key platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience and discussion of current industry challenges. The central event of the program on May 21 will be the plenary session “Kazakhstan Optical Market 2026: Policy, Economy, Clinical Experience and New Technologies”, aimed at forming a comprehensive understanding of current trends and development prospects of Kazakhstan’s optical market — from issues of state regulation and digitalization to the implementation of innovative clinical solutions and modern standards in ophthalmology. During the plenary discussion, participants will discuss state policy priorities that will shape the development of the industry in 2026, the impact of changes in the tax system, including VAT-related issues, on the activities of optical salons and clinics, as well as the prospects for implementing new requirements in the field of National Goods Catalog, digital reporting and state integration systems. A separate block will be devoted to modern approaches in ophthalmology and optometry, innovations in diagnostics, the production and application of orthokeratology lenses, as well as cooperation between clinics and manufacturers of medical solutions.
Among the speakers are Asset Ilyasovich Nussupov – Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Murat Sagimbekov – Deputy Director of the Almaty and Almaty Region Branch of RSE “KazStandard”; Anna Yakovleva – Co-owner and CEO of Actual Optic; Dilyara Aliyeva – Founder of MedInnVision Lab; Gulnara Andrienko – Medical Director for Special Contact Lens Correction and Myopia Control at the ASTANA VISION clinic network.
The business program will continue with the seminar by Actual Optic “27 Years at the Top: How to Create a Niche Without Competitors”. The session will cover management decisions that have enabled the company to maintain its leadership position for decades, as well as real business development cases, the search for a unique market niche and strategic decisions that influenced the company’s growth. The seminar speaker will be Anna Yakovleva, Co-owner and CEO of Actual Optic.
