INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION PLASTEX QAZAQSTAN 2026 LAUNCHES INDUSTRY DIALOGUE ON THE FUTURE OF THE POLYMER INDUSTRY
TODAY, OCTOBER 21, 2026, THE KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF PLASTICS AND CHEMICAL INDUSTRY PLASTEX QAZAQSTAN 2026 OPENED IN KAZAKHSTAN’S SOUTHERN CAPITAL.

The event serves as a specialized industry platform for showcasing advanced technological developments, production equipment, raw materials and innovative solutions. The exhibition contributes to the development of professional interaction, the expansion of industrial cooperation and the creation of new opportunities for enterprises in the polymer and chemical industries.
This year, the exhibition brings together 16 companies from 4 countries — Kazakhstan, China, Russia and Uzbekistan. The domestic sector is represented by 10 companies, while the international sector comprises 6 companies. The participation of foreign manufacturers and suppliers creates additional opportunities for strengthening international business ties, exchanging technological expertise and expanding Kazakhstani enterprises’ access to modern solutions in polymer materials processing.
One of the key events of the first day was the official opening ceremony of Plastex Qazaqstan 2026, which brought together representatives of government agencies, industry associations, specialized organizations and the business community. Following the opening ceremony, a VIP tour of the exhibition was organized for distinguished guests, during which the delegation familiarized itself with the technological developments and production solutions presented by participating companies.
The exhibition component of Plastex Qazaqstan 2026 covers the full production and technological cycle — from raw materials and components to finished products. Visitors can explore technologies and equipment for polymer processing, automation systems and peripheral equipment, moulds and technological tooling, composite materials, polyurethanes, rubber and rubber products. A separate area is dedicated to 3D printing solutions, expanding the possibilities for applying modern manufacturing methods across various industrial sectors.

A special place in the Plastex Qazaqstan 2026 programme is occupied by the business component, focused on addressing strategic challenges in the development of the polymer industry, increasing the depth of processing of oil and gas chemical raw materials, and strengthening national production and supply chains.
The central event of the programme is the plenary session “Kazakhstan’s Polymer Industry: From Launching Petrochemical Production Facilities to High Value-Added Products”, dedicated to the prospects for further development of the domestic petrochemical complex and the transition to the production of goods with a higher degree of processing.
The following participants took part in the official opening ceremony of the exhibition:
• Temirlan Urkumbayev – Director of the Department of Petrochemicals and Technical Regulation of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• Sergey Minasyan – Director of Marketing and Sales at Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc. LLP;
• Bakytbek Jumakulov – Chief Specialist of the Domestic Market Development Department at KMG PetroChem LLP;
• Pavel Beklemishev – Advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board of the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan;
• Rinat Imashev – Head of the Almaty Branch of the Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology;
