ITECA SPRING EXHIBITION SEASON 2026: WHERE NEW MARKETS, PARTNERSHIPS, AND INVESTMENTS TAKE SHAPE

MORE THAN 23,000 PROFESSIONAL VISITORS, OVER 1,100 EXHIBITING COMPANIES, PARTICIPANTS FROM DOZENS OF COUNTRIES, INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS, INVESTMENT NEGOTIATIONS, AND THOUSANDS OF NEW BUSINESS CONNECTIONS – THESE ARE THE RESULTS WITH WHICH ITECA CONCLUDED ITS SPRING EXHIBITION SEASON 2026.

However, these figures represent far more than statistics. Today, international exhibitions have become platforms where the economy of the future is shaped. It is here that investment projects are discussed, strategic decisions are made, new industrial partnerships are established, export agreements are signed, and the development priorities of entire industries are defined. This is precisely the role that Iteca's projects play today.
Over the course of three months, Almaty, Astana, and Atyrau became venues for international professional dialogue, bringing together representatives from key sectors of the economy, ranging from tourism and healthcare to the oil and gas industry, construction, the food industry, industrial safety, and the mining and metallurgical sector.
During the Spring Season, Iteca exhibitions welcomed 23,329 professional visitors, while 1,162 companies participated in the exhibitions. The business programmes brought together hundreds of experts, executives of leading companies, representatives of government authorities, and international organisations, once again confirming the strong interest of the global professional community in Kazakhstan as a platform for business development and international cooperation.

Kazakhstan Strengthens Its Position as an International Business Hub
Year after year, Kazakhstan continues to strengthen its position on the global exhibition map. The Spring Season 2026 once again confirmed this trend.
The exhibitions and congresses welcomed 33 official delegations, diplomatic missions, national pavilions, representatives of international financial institutions, industry associations, and the world's leading companies.
For example, the KITF Tourism Exhibition brought together 414 companies from 24 countries and featured 16 national pavilions. Meanwhile, the KIHE, PharmaTECH Kazakhstan, and VisionCare exhibitions hosted 400 companies from 24 countries, once again demonstrating Kazakhstan's role as the key hub for professional cooperation in the healthcare sector across Central Asia.
In western Kazakhstan, the international exhibitions Atyrau Oil&Gas and AtyrauBuild brought together 2,828 professionals from 36 countries, with nearly 40% of exhibitors participating for the first time. This serves as further evidence of the growing interest of the international business community in the Caspian region and its industrial potential.
Where Meetings Turn into Decisions
One of the defining features of the Spring Season was its strong focus on international and government agendas.
The highlight of the season was AMM Congress 2026, officially opened by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov.
The Congress brought together representatives of the governments of Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, the United States, and the European Union, as well as executives of leading international companies, financial institutions, and industry organisations.
The event welcomed 2,269 delegates from 29 countries, while the business programme featured more than 120 international speakers.
Over the course of several days, 390 B2B and B2G meetings were held, focusing on investment cooperation, the development of international industrial value chains, and the implementation of joint projects.
Most importantly, many of these negotiations resulted in tangible follow-up actions.
One of the Congress's key outcomes was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The document provides for the development of cooperation in subsoil use, raw material processing, investment attraction, and technology exchange.
AMM also hosted the international round tables "USA – Kazakhstan" and "EU – Kazakhstan", a Canadian investment session, and the C5+1 Dialogue dedicated to cooperation in the field of critical minerals.

Shaping the Industry Agenda
A comprehensive business programme accompanied virtually every event of the Spring Season.
The discussions extended far beyond individual industries. The spotlight was on the issues that will define the competitiveness of Kazakhstan's economy in the years ahead: digital transformation of enterprises, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, industrial safety, the development of tourism, healthcare, logistics, the food industry, production localisation, exports, and investment attraction.
Within the framework of AMM 2026 alone, 30 industry sessions were held, while the KIOSH Conference brought together 62 speakers from eight countries and featured 11 thematic discussions dedicated to modern approaches to industrial safety, occupational risk management, and the implementation of digital technologies.
More Than Exhibitions
Modern international exhibitions have long evolved beyond being mere showcases of products and services.
Today, they represent a comprehensive ecosystem for business development, attracting investors, launching new production facilities, helping companies enter international markets, and building long-term international partnerships.
This is why Iteca's projects have become meeting places not only for market participants, but also for decision-makers shaping the future development of entire industries.
The Spring Season 2026 once again confirmed that Kazakhstan is steadily strengthening its position as one of Central Asia's leading business hubs, while the exhibition industry is becoming an increasingly important driver of economic growth, international cooperation, and investment attraction.
Today, the Iteca team is already preparing for the Autumn Season.
Ahead lie new international exhibitions and conferences, new business connections, investment projects, and partnerships. Yet one thing remains unchanged: every new exhibition is another opportunity to bring together people, ideas, and technologies that will shape the economy of tomorrow.
