JOINT EXPOSITION OF MINING AND METALS CENTRAL ASIA AND KAZCOMAK 2024 BROUGHT TOGETHER 402 COMPANIES AND COVERED 19,800 SQ.M. OF EXHIBITION SPACE

From September 17 to 19, in three pavilions of the Atakent Exhibition Center and on the outdoor exhibition area, the largest exhibitions in the Central Asian region will take place: the 29th International Exhibition “Mining Equipment, Extraction and Processing of Ores and Minerals” – Mining and Metals Central Asia 2024, and the anniversary 20th Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Road and Industrial Construction, Municipal Equipment” – Kazcomak 2024.

More than 400 exhibitors from 34 countries, including Australia, Austria, Belarus, the United Kingdom, Germany, India, Iran, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, Cyprus, China, Lithuania, Norway, the UAE, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Slovenia, the USA, Turkey, Finland, France, Switzerland, Sweden, South Africa, South Korea, the Czech Republic, Chile, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine, will present machinery, equipment, and technologies for mining production and ore processing plants, solutions for mining safety, digitalization, automation, and special-purpose machinery. On the outdoor exposition, visitors will be able to see more than 80 units of specialized equipment for the mining industry.

KAZCOMAK 2024

Producers from the United Kingdom, Germany, China, and Turkey will present their National Stands. In total, international participants account for 54% of all exhibitors. With its status as the metallurgical hub of Central Asia, Kazakhstan continues to attract new business representatives from around the world, expanding their presence in the country. Debuting at the exhibitions are 74 exhibitors, making up one-quarter of all participants.

Among the Kazcomak exhibitors are companies from Kazakhstan and Russia, including Aiqara, Borusan Cat Kazakhstan, Eurasian Machinery, Hyundai Commercial Center Kazakhstan, Mashimport, SANY, Sunlong, Sevalo Engineering Machinery Kazakhstan, Son-Mak KZ, Eurasia TechMachinery, Kamaz Euro Service, Kopeysk Machine-Building Plant, Korrus Tech Asia, Virazh, Komek Machinery Kazakhstan, Kurylys Technika, MaxGroup, Spets-Avto, Reshke, and others. Exhibitors of Mining and Metals Central Asia include Aumund Fördertechnik, Aramine, Bradken, FLS, Micromine, Metso Kazakhstan, Polycorp, Robertson Geo, Sandvik Mining and Construction, Scantech, Swiss Tower Minerals, Thrane&Thrane Teknikk, Weir Minerals, and many others.

In the context of active ESG initiatives and the implementation of artificial intelligence in the mining and metallurgical sector, the exhibition’s business program includes plenary sessions and panel discussions on key issues, including cybersecurity and financial instruments for sector development. On September 17, the Plenary Session “ESG Initiatives in Kazakhstan’s Mining and Metallurgical Complex: Overcoming Challenges and Exploring New Opportunities” will take place. Speakers will include representatives of government bodies, leading industry associations and unions, as well as practicing experts.

The business program will also include sessions such as: “IT Architecture and Application of AI in the Mining and Metallurgical Complex”, “Cyber Resilience and Cyber Threats: The Human Factor as the Key Element”, “Financial Instruments and Leasing: Promoting Kazakhstani Content in the Mining Sector”, a session by the Kazakhstan Mining Chamber, AMM Tech “Technologies. Innovations. Solutions”, as well as seminars from companies including ProLabSupport, NPO “RIVS”, Altel Business, DNA-BLAST MSC, Rikaz, Glencore Technology, Magotteaux, Metso, ISB Industries, and the Association “NP Mining Industrialists of Russia”.

The exhibitions are organized by the Kazakhstan exhibition company Iteca and its international partner – ICA Events Group.

Traditionally, the exhibitions are held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Almaty city, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken”, JSC “NMC Tau-Ken Samruk”, the Republican Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises (AGMP), the World Bank of Kazakhstan, as well as the trade missions and diplomatic representations of the participating countries.
