KIOGE 2026 — 30 YEARS AT THE HEART OF KAZAKHSTAN’S OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
FROM SEPTEMBER 30 TO OCTOBER 2, ALMATY WILL HOST THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE “OIL AND GAS” — KIOGE 2026.

For three decades, the project has served as a professional platform for interaction between representatives of government authorities, national and international companies, industry associations, the expert community and technology solution providers.
In its anniversary year, the exhibition brought together 501 companies from 22 countries. Kazakhstan is represented by 187 companies, while another 314 participants represent the international market. The exhibition geography covers Azerbaijan, Austria, the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, India, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Malaysia, the Netherlands, the UAE, Oman, Russia, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the USA, Thailand, Türkiye and Uzbekistan. National groups were formed by Austria, Germany, Italy, India, China and Russia. Notably, 34% of exhibitors are participating in KIOGE for the first time, demonstrating the expanding participant base and sustained business interest in Kazakhstan’s oil and gas market.
The KIOGE 2026 exhibition presents current technologies, equipment and service solutions for the oil and gas industry. The participation of leading industry companies creates opportunities for establishing direct business contacts, discussing prospects for cooperation and finding practical solutions for the implementation of current and prospective projects.
An important component of KIOGE has traditionally been the international conference, which this year brought together 620 delegates from 22 countries. The speaker lineup includes representatives from 12 countries — Azerbaijan, the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, the UAE, Italy, Poland, the USA and Uzbekistan. The central event of the conference programme will be the plenary session “Global Integration: Kazakhstan’s Role in New Energy Value Chains”. Over two days, representatives of government authorities, national and international companies, industry associations and the expert community will discuss current issues related to the development of the oil and gas industry, technological modernization and strengthening Kazakhstan’s position in the international energy system.
On September 30, the professional agenda will focus on the development of the upstream sector, the implementation of smart technologies at the stages of seismic exploration and drilling, low-carbon development, ESG and climate regulation. Particular attention will be paid to the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector, the practical application of artificial intelligence and automation, as well as the development of oil and gas engineering and petrochemicals. On the same day, the presentation of the 26th WPC Energy Congress and the presentation of the KAZENERGY National Energy Report will take place.
On October 1, the discussion agenda will cover the development of the gas and gas chemical industries, export logistics and the geopolitics of routes, investment prospects for the energy sector and the further energy transition. Participants will also address the accumulated professional experience of the oil and gas industry, issues of business-government interaction, as well as modern approaches to management amid uncertainty and changing priorities.
Alongside the conference, a series of specialized seminars will be held directly at the exhibition venue. On September 30, their programmes will be presented by LMP Project Group CA, KSP STEEL and JSC “NC “QazaqGaz”. On October 1, seminars by Topan, NCOC, KPO and Tengizchevroil will take place, as well as a separate presentation of the 26th WPC Energy Congress, which will be held on June 11–15, 2028 in Astana, for oilfield service companies.
The practical focus of KIOGE is strengthened by its business negotiations programme. As part of the exhibition, more than 100 B2B and G2B meetings are planned, aimed at developing direct interaction between businesses, government authorities and industry customers. This format enables participants to discuss cooperation opportunities in detail, present their competencies and establish new professional contacts.
The high level of industry representation is confirmed by the lineup of KIOGE 2026 honorary guests. The exhibition events are attended by heads of the energy sector of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, representatives of national companies and international organizations, including the leadership of WPC Energy and the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, as well as top management of major oil and gas companies.
The anniversary KIOGE 2026 continues to create a space for professional dialogue on the development of the oil and gas industry, technological modernization, international cooperation and strengthening business ties. The combination of a large-scale exhibition, a substantive conference programme and direct negotiations makes it possible to bring together key energy market participants on one platform and identify current areas for further cooperation.
