PharmaTECH Kazakhstan 2026 will be the venue for discussing key industry development trends, technological solutions, and investment opportunities.

PharmaTECH Kazakhstan 2026 is an international exhibition of equipment, raw materials, and technologies for the pharmaceutical industry, which will be held from May 20–22, 2026, at the Atakent Exhibition Center in Almaty. The event will bring together pharmaceutical equipment manufacturers, technology suppliers, representatives of pharmaceutical companies, distributors, government agencies, and industry experts on one platform. The exhibition will be a meeting point for business and government.

PharmaTECH Kazakhstan has already established itself as a professional industry platform. Last year, the exhibition featured 48 companies from 9 countries, attracted 4,970 specialists from 50 countries, and the business program included 26 events with 81 speakers.

The key event of the exhibition's business program will be the international forum Pharma Dialogue: Kazakhstan, which will bring together representatives from the government, business, and international organizations to discuss the future of the country's pharmaceutical market.

The forum program will begin with a plenary session "State – EU – WHO: Architecture of a Sustainable Pharmaceutical Market," dedicated to Kazakhstan's integration into the international drug regulation system, harmonization of GMP, GDP, and GCP standards, and the development of sustainable supply chains. The focus will be on access to innovative drugs, international cooperation, and new approaches to drug provision for the population. The plenary session will be moderated by Vyacheslav Lokshin, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, President of the Kazakhstan Association of Reproductive Medicine, Rector of the International Academy of Reproductology, and President of the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers. Speakers will include representatives from government bodies, international organizations, and industry institutions, including the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the European Union in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the World Health Organization in Kazakhstan, and SK-Pharmacy LLP. During the session, experts will discuss macroeconomic factors in the development of the pharmaceutical market, regulatory integration issues, international cooperation, and enhancing the resilience of the drug supply system.

Next will be the strategic session "Kazakhstan's Pharmaceutical Market 2026: VAT, Investments, Export, and Industrial Infrastructure," where the dialogue will focus on the impact of the new tax policy on the industry, prospects for localizing production, and opportunities for expanding exports to the EAEU and Central Asian countries. Special attention will be given to the development of production capacities, logistics infrastructure, and mechanisms for attracting investments in the pharmaceutical industry.

One of the central themes of the forum will be the digital transformation of the pharmaceutical market. The session "Digital Pharma 2026: Management, Transparency, and Drug Provision" will focus on the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies, big data analysis, digital traceability of medicines, labeling, and opportunities to increase market transparency. Experts will discuss the use of AI for demand forecasting, preventing drug shortages, optimizing production processes, and developing electronic healthcare systems.

The business program will conclude with a foresight session "Kazakhstan's Pharmaceutical Market – 2030: Scenarios, Risks, and Growth Points." Participants will discuss all the insights gained from all the sessions of the business program and present possible scenarios for the industry's development in the coming years - from regulatory changes and economic factors to technological innovations and the growth of local production. The discussion will result in the formation of key development guidelines for the country's pharmaceutical market.

Thus, the business program of PharmaTech Kazakhstan 2026 will not only be a platform for exchanging experiences but also a space for strategic dialogue where solutions for the sustainable development of Kazakhstan's pharmaceutical industry are formed.

The event is officially supported by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Almaty city, the Public Health Department of Almaty city, SK-Pharmacy LLP, the Association for Support and Development of Pharmaceutical Activities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Association "PharmMedIndustry of Kazakhstan."

The exhibition is organized by the Kazakhstan exhibition company Iteca in collaboration with its international partner, the ICA Events group of companies.
