PLASTEX QAZAQSTAN 2025: TERRITORY OF NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR KAZAKHSTAN'S POLYMER INDUSTRY
FROM NOVEMBER 12 TO 14, 2025, THE INTERNATIONAL SPECIALIZED EXHIBITION PLASTEX QAZAQSTAN 2025 WILL BE HELD FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ALMATY, AIMED TO BECOME A KEY COMMUNICATION PLATFORM FOR REPRESENTATIVES OF THE POLYMER AND PROCESSING INDUSTRY. THE EVENT WILL BRING TOGETHER PARTICIPANTS, DEMONSTRATING THE HIGH INTEREST OF THE GLOBAL BUSINESS COMMUNITY IN THE CENTRAL ASIAN MARKET AND ITS INDUSTRIAL POTENTIAL.

More than 30 companies from Kazakhstan, India, Iran, China, Russia, and Uzbekistan will participate in the exhibition, showcasing innovative technologies, modern equipment, and materials for polymer processing. Among the represented companies are Haitian International LTD., KPI, POLIMAX General Trading, DistiTech, Polymer Market, and other leading players in the global market.
The Plastex Qazaqstan 2025 exposition will cover the full technological cycle — from raw materials and components to finished products. The professional community will be presented with technologies and equipment for polymer processing, automation and peripherals, molds and tooling, composite materials, polyurethanes, rubber and rubber engineering, solutions in 3D printing, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as recycling and regeneration technologies.
Special attention will be paid to the business program, which will serve as the content center of the exhibition and become a platform for expert discussion of strategic directions for industry development. The program will open on November 12 with the Plenary Session "Trends in the Development of the Plastics Market in Kazakhstan and Key Players in International Commodity Markets," which will address key aspects of market formation, import substitution issues, prospects for increasing added value in production, and the investment attractiveness of the industry. Invited speakers include representatives of government bodies, development institutions, and major industrial companies: the Ministry of Industry and Construction, the Ministry of Energy, QazIndustry, the Damu Fund, KMG PetroChem, KPI, KAZAKHEXPORT, Polymer Market, KAZKHIMIYA, PetroCouncil, and other organizations.
The further program of the first day will continue with a foresight block, where preliminary results of the plenary discussion will be summarized and forecasts for the development of Kazakhstan's polymer market will be formulated, followed by the official opening ceremony of the exhibition and an overview VIP tour of the exposition. Participants will then be able to take part in the thematic session "Development of Local Production: The Role of Chemistry in Automotive Engineering" with the participation of Astana Motors Engineering, Allur, SIBUR, LLP "Silleno", KPI, and the Kazakhstan Automotive Union, aimed at developing practical solutions to increase the level of production localization and strengthen interaction between raw material suppliers and automakers. Special attention will be paid to improving supply chains, implementing innovative materials, and mechanisms of state support within the framework of public-private partnerships. On the same day, a discussion panel "Chemistry in Construction: Challenges and Solutions" will be held, dedicated to import substitution, localization of paint and varnish production, and increasing efficiency in the polymer pipe sector.
The second day of the exhibition, November 13, will focus on sustainable development issues. The central event will be a practical ESG workshop by the Central Asian Institute for Environmental Research, dedicated to developing tools to improve the environmental efficiency of production. The first part of the event will focus on "Developing ESG Taxonomy for Kazakhstan's Plastic Industry: Compliance with International Standards," where experts will discuss the need for unifying sustainability criteria and implementing international practices for evaluating environmental projects. The second part, titled "Life Cycle Assessment of Plastics (LCA) as a Tool for Managing Sustainable Production," will highlight the importance of life cycle analysis for ensuring export competitiveness and confirming the environmental responsibility of enterprises.
In addition to the rich business program, the exhibition will feature special areas — B2B Zone by KPI, designed for negotiations and establishing partnerships, as well as ECO ZONE, focused on promoting recycling technologies and sustainable production. Special attention will be given to a new initiative — Robo Zone by Astana Hub, a modern platform for the development of innovations and industrial automation in Kazakhstan. The center brings together science, business, and education, promoting the implementation of advanced solutions in robotics and 3D printing. The mission of Robo Zone is to form a sustainable ecosystem of industrial innovation based on R&D, prototyping, and pilot implementations aimed at increasing the competitiveness of domestic enterprises and developing the country's digital economy.
Plastex Qazaqstan 2025 is more than an exhibition. This event marks an important stage in the development of Kazakhstan's polymer industry. The project will facilitate the integration of domestic enterprises into international production chains, stimulate the adoption of innovations, and the development of sustainable practices.
