The exhibition will bring together representatives of the manufacturing sector, government authorities, industry associations and the expert community, serving as a professional platform for showcasing modern solutions, developing business relations and discussing the prospects of Kazakhstan’s polymer and chemical industries.

In 2026, the exhibition will feature companies from 5 countries — Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Russia and Uzbekistan. First-time participants include SILLENNO, ADITIM, KRONA and EMEN URALSK.

The exhibition will cover the main areas related to polymer production and processing. Participants will present chemical and polymer raw materials, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, rubbers, polycarbonate, PET and ABS plastic, masterbatches, superconcentrates, fillers and technological additives, antistatic equipment, as well as solutions for the production of pipes, multilayer and shrink films, and injection molding.

A significant part of Plastex Qazaqstan 2026 will be the business programme, focused on practical issues of developing domestic production and expanding deep processing. On October 21, it will open with an extended plenary session “Kazakhstan’s Polymer Industry: From Launching Petrochemical Production Facilities to High Value-Added Products” The discussion will focus on supplying processors with raw materials, stimulating investment, government support, creating sustainable demand for Kazakhstani products, increasing the industry’s investment attractiveness and developing promising segments of deep processing.

The plenary discussion will feature representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, NC KazMunayGas JSC, KMG PetroChem, Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc., SIBUR Holding, Polymer Market and KAZKHIMIYA. The session will be followed by a foresight block summarizing the key outcomes, and at 12:30 — the official opening ceremony of the exhibition and a guided VIP tour of the exhibition.

The first day will continue with sessions “Modernization of Housing and Utilities through Polymer Solutions: Development of Pipe Production and Localization of Infrastructure Projects” and “Market Protection and Development of Local Processing: Barriers to the Import of Finished Products.” Experts will discuss prospects for expanding the use of domestic polymer products in construction and housing and utilities, mechanisms for guaranteed demand and offtake contracts, technical regulation issues, imports of finished products and the economic impact of further production localization.

On October 22, the programme will continue with sessions “Localisation of Polymer Automotive Components: New Materials, Technologies and Supply Chains”, “Polymers for Healthcare: Development of Medical Device Production in Kazakhstan” and “Economics of Plastics Recycling in Kazakhstan”. Thus, the second day’s agenda will cover prospects for localizing automotive components and exporting them to the Central Asian and EAEU markets, the development of domestic medical device production, quality and certification issues for medical polymers, as well as the formation of an economically sustainable system for collecting and procuring secondary raw materials.

By combining a specialized exhibition with a relevant industry agenda, Plastex Qazaqstan 2026 will create opportunities for professional dialogue between government and business, establishing new business contacts and discussing practical mechanisms for further development of Kazakhstan’s polymer and chemical industries.

Plastex Qazaqstan 2026 is held with the official support of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty City Akimat, Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, Petrochemical Association PGCA, Association of Legal Entities "KAZKHIMIYA”, PetroCouncil Oil and Gas Council of Kazakhstan, Polymer Market, as well as international industry associations PLASTICS INDUSTRY, LOOKING PLAS and POLYMER BAZAAR.

The exhibition is organized by the Kazakhstani exhibition company Iteca together with its international partner — the ICA Events Group of Companies.
