The event brought together manufacturers, suppliers, experts, and representatives of government structures, creating a platform for experience exchange, showcasing innovations, and developing cross-industry cooperation.

Over three days, the exhibition was visited by 860 industry professionals, confirming the market's high interest in new technologies and solutions in the field of polymer and chemical industry. Alexander Troynin, Commercial Director of the company 'April', shared his impressions of the visit: 'The exhibition made a good impression, especially considering that it is being held in Kazakhstan for the first time. Honestly, I even thought that this was not its first occurrence. There are not many industry representatives yet, but among the participants, there are familiar companies. I noted the company KPI for myself — we exchanged contacts and plan to discuss closer cooperation.'

This year, Plastex Qazaqstan brought together 44 companies from 6 countries — Kazakhstan, India, Iran, China, Russia, and Uzbekistan. Among them are 13 domestic manufacturers and 31 international companies, presenting a full range of solutions: from raw materials and components to equipment, automation, molds, and 3D printing technologies. The exhibition allowed specialists to see current developments and assess the potential of new production technologies. The effectiveness of interaction and professional interest are also emphasized by the exhibition participants: 'The Plastex Qazaqstan exhibition was very effective, there were many interesting meetings and we exchanged contacts. We hope for long-term cooperation with Kazakhstani plastic manufacturers and look forward to another great exhibition in Kazakhstan,' noted Mukhammadjon Abdullaev, Samarkand-Golden Colors.

A rich business program became a key part of the event. The exhibition began with a plenary session 'Trends in the development of the plastics market in Kazakhstan and key players in international commodity markets', where issues of import substitution, increasing added value in production, investment attractiveness of the industry, and the role of the state in regulating the sector were discussed. Speakers included representatives of the Damu Fund, KPI, KAZAKHEXPORT, Polymer Market, KAZKHIMIA, PetroCouncil, and other structures. The high level of cross-industry dialogue is also noted by visitors: 'It is especially valuable how such events manage to unite key industries of Kazakhstan and focus on the development of local production. It is very pleasant to see that representatives of different fields and companies gather on the platform — this creates a strong foundation for the development of the industry as a whole.', emphasized Zarema Yesengaliyeva, an engineer at Linde.

Immediately after the plenary discussion, participants moved to the foresight block, where preliminary results of the discussions were summarized and forecasts for the development of the country's polymer market were outlined. Then the official opening ceremony and VIP tour of the exhibition took place, allowing guests to get acquainted with key stands and technologies. The program continued with a thematic session 'Development of local production: the role of chemistry in the automotive industry' with the participation of Astana Motors Engineering, Allur, SIBUR, TOO 'Silleno', KPI, and the Kazakhstan Automobile Union. Speakers discussed production localization, innovative materials, supply chain optimization, and government support measures.

On the same day, a discussion panel 'Chemistry in Construction: Challenges and Solutions' was held, where the prospects for localizing paint and varnish products, the development of the polymer pipe segment, and increasing the efficiency of related industries were discussed.

Special exhibition zones played a significant role in building business communications. The B2B Zone ensured effective negotiations and partnership establishment. The ECO Zone attracted attention with recycling technologies and sustainable production. The Robo Zone from Astana Hub presented solutions in the field of robotics and 3D printing, highlighting trends in the technological development of the industry. The practical benefits of participation are also confirmed by the exhibiting companies. Bulat Galiev, An-Naml noted: 'The overall impression of the exhibition is positive. Speaking of results, there are established contacts in both supply and sales. Contact was established with KPI, and a request for raw materials was sent.'

On November 13, the second day of the exhibition was dedicated to the ESG agenda. The conference program opened with a practical ESG workshop of the Central Asian Institute for Environmental Research, including two key parts: 'Development of ESG taxonomy for Kazakhstan's plastic industry: compliance with international standards' and 'Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of plastics as a tool for managing sustainable production'. Participants discussed tools for managing sustainable production and modern approaches to reducing environmental impact. A session with leading plastic recyclers, organized jointly with the Recycle Birge Fund, attracted special attention from participants. During the discussions, experts exchanged practical experiences, discussed modern approaches to effective recycling, and the implementation of sustainable practices in the industry. Based on the results of all strategic sessions, a final resolution containing specific recommendations and proposals was prepared, which was officially sent to relevant government and industry agencies for further consideration and implementation.

Plastex Qazaqstan 2025 concluded its work, confirming its status as a new strategic platform for Kazakhstan's chemical and polymer industry. The dialogue between international and domestic companies, the presentation of modern technologies, and the high level of professional involvement made the exhibition a notable event for the industry and laid the foundation for its further development.
